Grand celebrations announced to mark 92nd Saudi National Day

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia—From Sept 18-26, Saudi Arabia will be hosting grand celebrations to mark the 92nd Saudi National Day.

Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority Turki bin Abdulmuhsen Al Al-Sheikh announced the launch of the celebrations themed “It’s Our Home”.

Aerial and marine shows by jets, helicopters, civil airplanes, ships and boats will be organized under the theme “A Salute for the Homeland”.

The Royal Saudi Air Force will carry out aerial shows with Typhoon, 15S, Tornado, and F-15C planes in 14 cities.

The Royal Saudi Navy will take part in a national parade with military vehicles, motorcyclists, and a cavalry show, in addition to a marine show with modern sea pieces, a boat show for the Special Maritime Security Group, and an aerial show with helicopters

The Ministry of Interior will hold “Events for the Pride of the Homeland”, which includes musical shows by the ministry’s military band, entertainment pavilions and virtual (AD1) theaters.

A parade by Royal Guards on the roads of Riyadh and Jeddah, the playing of Saudi Royal Anthem by a musical band will also be part of the celebrations.

At the Princess Nourah bint Abdul Rahman University in Riyadh, Cirque du Soleil will perform for four days under theme “A wealth of homeland”.

Also, 13 regions of the Kingdom will host festivals celebrating the history and national heritage of the Kingdom. These festivals will be held at public parks. Fireworks will be organized in 18 cities of various regions.
