The world’s first managed experiential food and bar hall, Social Distrikt, officially opens its doors to the public, after much anticipation.

With the rise and disruption the world is currently witnessing across the food & beverage industry, the recently-launched hospitality company behind for Social Distrikt, Limestone Lab, has geared-up to disrupt the front-end of the ‘brick-and-mortar experience’ with the introduction of this first of many concepts.

A 20,000 ft space, the experiential, urban food and bar hall spans across the UAE’s iconic waterfront destination, The Pointe, located in front of the world’s largest fountain The Palm Fountain.

The venue, which seats 600 guests, and 1200 guests at full capacity, offers consumers an exceptional multi-sensory dining experience unlike any other, providing a social and cultural atmosphere for patrons to savour multiple cuisines whilst unwinding to house beverages.

All under a single roof, the food and bar hall features grape gardens, gastro bars, dining lounges, social spaces, entertainment corners, culinary workshop areas and much more.

The venue is complemented with a large outdoor seating area, with front row views of the fountain, and designed to provide an ‘el fresco’ setting with lush greenery and strung bulb lights throughout.

Social Distrikt houses a melting pot of the region’s trending F&B concepts, plugged in by Kitopi, the world’s leading managed cloud kitchen platform. These diverse F&B outlets include Pinsanity, Couqley, Ichiban Sushi, Zaroob, Circle Cafe, Rock House Sliders, Japang, and more, with the aim of catering to a global palette.

These venues will each have their own branded façade boasting of an ‘open-kitchen’ concept, with their logos brightly lit and hung directly above. Enhancing the typical ordering experience, the venue has also designed an application which patrons can simply download to place their orders and have their meals delivered directly to their tables.

Aiming to be the go-to destination for consumers seeking bespoke dining experiences, the market-disrupting F&B concept offers more than just food and beverage.  Setting it apart from the typical ‘food hall’, Social Distrikt provides an exceptional, multi-sensory dining concept unlike any other, with various immersive social spaces, entertainment corners, by partnering with local companies to bring this vision to life.

These include an eclectic concept store to browse through and shop at, by FLTRD, aVR gaming corner by Robocom, and a vinyl record station by Raw Music Store. In addition, the venue will host its very own live radio which will be open to the public.

With ‘entertainment’ and ‘experiences’ is at its core, the immersive dining hall has revealed its plans to launch various themed-nights and events throughout the year.

The 2022 pipeline features a variety of entertainment nights, events, and activations, from standup comedy, game nights, sunset art workshops, to brunches, movie nights, book clubs, and more.

The venue will also soon act as a space for digital nomads to work from in the near future, with various accommodating packages soon to roll out.

Social Distrikt was conceptualized by Limestone Lab, the recently-launched hospitality group founded by Dubai’s renowned duo entrepreneurs, Hassan Ballout and Hani Doueik.

“We are grateful and excited to finally see what we imagined as a harmonious ecosystem, finally come to life,”  Ballout said. “We are looking forward to welcoming our guests, our extended family, to experience this multi-sensory space all together as one big gathering”.
