The Women’s Committee at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority or DEWA has reportedly launched a virtual self-development camp for 200 participants across different divisions.

The two-month virtual camp is said to feature six learning tracks.

It will reportedly focus on three pillars: balancing personal and professional lives, career success tools, and self-development and adjusting to change.

DEWA Women’s Committee Chairperson Fatima Al Jokar was quoted by a statement as saying that the virtual camp aimed to develop soft skills among female employees.

These include effective communications, strategic planning, and adjusting to change.

The virtual camp is said to be part of the efforts of the committee to enhance communications with female employees and provide specialized programs to empower women in the workplace.

It also reportedly looks to harness all capabilities that help them strengthen their personal and professional skills.
