The committee issued a set of decisions including approving the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s bid to organize the third Gulf Forum for Voluntary Work for the Red Crescent bodies and societies in the GCC countries in December 2022.

The Gulf forum is expected to be held for two days in Saudi Arabia under the theme “Volunteering is life”.

The committee’s decision also reiterated the need to strengthen the existing strategic partnerships with brotherly and friendly countries.

This includes Jordan, Morocco, Iraq, and Sudan, in addition to opening prospects for cooperation in the humanitarian field with other countries, especially in times of crisis and disasters.

The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Committee’s General Secretariat in Riyadh on Friday.
