Syrian refugee influx in Jordan

Jordan has received more than 240,000 Syrian refugees in 2013, and high concentration of refugees have created an immense pressure on Jordanian water, electricity, public services, rental prices, and demand for employment.

The government of Jordan estimates that there are more than half a million Syrian refugees since the full blown conflict began in March 2011, says United Nations Refugee Agency.
