Mawani, MARASI ink pact to establish Seafarers Club in Saudi ports

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The General Authority for Ports (Mawani) and MARASI MARINE signed an agreement on Sunday to establish a Seafarers Club at Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam and Ras Tanura Port, aimed at providing housing and entertainment services for the crews of local and international ships and international shipping lines. 

The agreement was signed by President of Mawani Omar bin Talal Hariri and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Marasi Talal bin Othman Al-Hamdan.

The Seafarers Club will have various amenities including a hotel, call centers, cafes, entertainment halls, multiple restaurants, a food commodity store, and a health club.

The club provides exchange and banking services and includes entertainment halls, places to provide integrated pharmaceutical and medical services, and a service center.

Mawani has been working to strengthen the position of Saudi ports as a part of the Kingdom’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
