These terms of use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the web site and / or app i.e., www.trendsmena.com (the Site) and any services offered by the company including but not limited to delivery of content via the Site, any mobile or internet connected device or otherwise (“the Service”).

By accessing the Site or Service and / or by clicking “I agree”, you agree to be bound by these Terms. You hereby represent and warrant to the Company that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or above and are capable of entering, performing and adhering to these Terms and that you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

While individuals under the age of 18 may utilise the Service of the TRENDS, they shall do so only with the involvement & guidance of their parents and / or legal guardians, under such Parent /Legal guardian’s registered account.

You agree to register prior to uploading any content and / or comment and any other use or services of this site and provide your details including but not limited to complete name, age, email address, residential address and contact number.

Definition of “User” or “You”: means any person who accesses or avails of this site of the Company for the purpose of hosting, publishing, sharing, transacting, displaying or uploading information or views and includes other persons jointly participating in using the site of the Company.

As a user, please be informed that this Website, which is accessible via your computer or your portable hand-held device, is handled by TRENDS ( “TRENDS”, “us”, “we” or “our”). Our company is registered in Beirut, Lebanon with our registered office at LB – Chiyah, Camille Chamoun Boulevard, 6th floor, Antoine Gharios Center, Lebanon.

Any references to “you” and “your” means you as the user of the Site.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, TRENDS is not responsible for the information on the Site and makes no warranty in respect of its timeliness, accuracy or availability. We disclaim all liability arising from any reliance placed on such information to the fullest extent permissible by law. Further no information on the site is to be treated as a financial advice and/or guidance for your investment decisions, needs, etc…

In addition, where the Site contain any details or information provided by third parties we make no promise that those details are up-to date or accurate.

REGISTRATION, SUBSCRIPTION OR MEMBERSHIP LOGIN

There are parts of the Site, and some services, which are not available to visitors to the Site. The Site requires you to sign-up, subscribe or register for a membership account with us in order for you to access certain pages of the Site or services. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the additional Subscription terms, the relevant specific Subscription terms will take precedence.

The TRENDS Website, the logo and all other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the TRENDS or its Website are trademarks or registered trademarks of the TRENDS or the Website’s licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the TRENDS Website may be the trademarks of other third parties. Your use of the Website grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any of the TRENDS or third-party trademarks.

We grant you a limited license to access and use the Site solely for your personal and non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, store or use the Site (or any part of them) in any way other than their intended use.

(a) edit or remove the Prohibited Content you have uploaded; and/or

We do not endorse any user generated content and the views expressed by other users on our Site do not represent our views or values. WARRANTIES & GENERAL

You represent and warrant that

  • your use of the TRENDS Website will be in strict accordance with the Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions of User Agreement and with this Agreement and with all applicable laws and regulations;
  • your use of the Website will not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • You shall not at any time do anything to bring The TRENDS Website’s brands, trademarks or reputation into disrepute.
  • You are not bound by any third party restriction not to enter into this Agreement or to license the intellectual property rights in and the use of your Content / Contribution on the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
  • You will submit an accurate and original piece of work and employ the highest standards of integrity and professionalism and not use material from other sources without attribution and / or the original creator’s written consent, as may be applicable.
  • Your Work will not be obtained by unlawful means, would not have been previously published in any manner or medium will not be libelous or defamatory or infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights, rights of privacy, or any other rights of any person or entity and is and will not be the subject of any litigation or other claim.
  • You will not accept any present, commission or any sort of gratification in cash or kind from any person, party, firm or company that you may be engaging with for the purpose of your blog.
  • You shall notify TRENDS immediately in the event that you receive a complaint regarding your Work or Blog or if there are any legal concerns around it shall work with TRENDS in resolving it.

If you fail to comply with our acceptable use and content standards, we may: withdraw your right to use our Site; remove any posting or material uploaded by you to our Site; issue a warning to you; issue legal action against you; disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary; and/or any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

You agree that you use the Site entirely at your own risk.

To the fullest extent possible, TRENDS expressly excludes and disclaims all warranties, terms, conditions and representations that might otherwise be implied by law in relation to the Site, including, without limitation, warranties of technical efficiency, satisfactory quality, availability, non-infringement, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose. VIRUS PROTECTION AND COMPATIBILITY

While certain precautions have been taken to detect computer viruses and ensure security, TRENDS cannot guarantee that the Site is virus-free and secure.

TRENDS shall not be liable for any loss or damage which occurs as a result of any virus or breach of security. TRENDS does not give any warranties as to the compatibility of the Site with your computer systems, software and/or hardware.

You may link to the Site’ home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal, for non-commercial purposes (unless we have given you written consent otherwise) and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.

GENERAL

Unless otherwise specified, the Site is directed solely at those who access them from the United Arab Emirates. Those who choose to access the Site from locations outside of the United Arab Emirates are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
