    • Projacs International was the Project Management Consultant

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) Headquarters Project, a 300-meter sculptured skyscraper in the heart of Kuwait City, was completed in May.  The project located in the financial district Sharq, is being hailed as a “true expression of Kuwaiti heritage and a leap into the future”.

The work on the project had started in 2013.

Projacs International, a subsidiary of Egis, a major international group in the construction engineering, was appointed by NBK as the Project Management Consultant.

Designers of the skyscraper, Foster & Partners in joint venture with Buro Happold, ensured that the project adapts to the region’s harsh climate and includes flexible and innovative engineering solutions.

Projacs’ missions included pre-construction and construction phase management, as well as securing the LEED Gold Certification for the sustainability, design and eco-friendly nature of the building.

The NBK is the only bank that  has built its new headquarters.  The work on the headquarters of the Boubyan Bank, one of the emerging banks in Kuwait and Gulf Cooperation Council, was started last December.

Once complete, the headquarters will offer Boubyan Bank the opportunity to utilize technology in banking, real estate and investments, while benefiting from spacious offices, convention halls, and other large public spaces.
