Bahrain bats for booster shots to battle Covid-19

    Bahrain is now advocating for its citizens to get their booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, said local reports on Wednesday, July 28.

    The reports quoted Bahrain’s National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus as saying that booster shots help individuals maximize immunity against Covid-19.

    This, the panel said, lowers risk of complications from severe illness and death.

    Booster shots have been seen to significantly reduced deaths as zero deaths and hospitalizations were recorded in Bahrain for individuals after two weeks of receiving a booster shot, said the local reports.
