Dubai, UAE — CFI Financial Group said it recorded its strongest first half on record, with trading volume reaching $5.34 trillion in the first six months of 2026, driven by sustained client engagement and strong trading activity across global markets.

Second-quarter trading volume totaled $3.03 trillion, up 31 percent from the first quarter and 101 percent from a year earlier, the online trading services provider said.

CFI said active clients increased 8.4 percent year-on-year during the period, while more than 42.47 million trades were executed in the second quarter, up 74 percent from a year earlier. The majority of trading activity was conducted through mobile platforms.

The company said metals generated the strongest demand during the quarter, followed by increased activity in equity indices.

CFI also expanded its geographic presence during the quarter, securing regulatory authorization in Brazil after its recent launch in Colombia.

In the United Arab Emirates, the group introduced local stock trading, while in Bahrain it expanded its product offering to include regulated digital asset products following regulatory approval.

Ziad Melhem, CEO of CFI Financial Group, said: “The significance of this performance goes beyond the numbers themselves. Behind every milestone are our clients who continue to place their trust in us, our partners, and our teams across every market where CFI operates.”

“The strongest first half in our history reflects the strength of those relationships and the confidence our clients place in our platform every day. Every milestone strengthens our responsibility to keep investing in our people, technology and infrastructure so we can continue delivering the standards our clients expect from us. While we’re proud of what we’ve achieved, we’re even more focused on building the foundations for the years ahead.”

The group said it operates through 15 regulated entities with more than 700 employees representing 48 nationalities.

During the quarter, CFI was named among the 2026 Best Workplaces in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain by Great Place To Work Middle East. It also received World Finance Forex Awards for Most Transparent FX Broker 2026 and Best Mobile Trading App 2026.

CFI said it plans to continue expanding into new markets, broaden its product offering and invest further in technology and trading infrastructure during the second half of 2026.
