Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) reported a 10.8% rise in net profit for the first nine months of 2026, supported by demand for connectivity and digital services.

Net profit reached AED2.4 billion ($653.5 million) in January-September, while revenue increased 6.2% year-on-year to AED12.3 billion, the company said.

Service revenue rose 6.8% to AED9 billion, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 9.2% to AED6 billion. The EBITDA margin expanded by 1.3 percentage points to 48.7%.

Third-quarter revenue increased 7.1% year-on-year, while net profit rose 7.3% to AED786 million. The EBITDA margin remained stable at 47.7%.

During the quarter, du secured a 20-year renewal of its Public Telecommunications Licence and a three-year extension of its royalty regime, providing greater long-term regulatory visibility, it said.

The company was also included in the MSCI UAE Standard Index and the FTSE All-World Index after meeting eligibility requirements, particularly those related to liquidity.

Du’s mobile subscriber base grew 3.3%, while its fixed-line subscriber base increased 5.2%.

Chief Executive Fahad Al Hassawi said the nine-month performance reflected the resilience of the company’s operations and its focus on growth.

Investments in data centres, cloud computing and advanced connectivity services were helping du expand beyond traditional telecommunications services, he added.
