All fully vaccinated tourists can travel to UAE

  • Tourists from the countries from which entry was previously banned also eligible for visas.
  • Facilities available to vaccinated UAE residents can be availed by tourists also.

DUBAI: Easing travel restrictions further, the UAE has said it will be issuing tourist visas for travelers from all across the world provided they have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization.

Eligible for tourist visas from Monday will be the people from those countries from which entry was previously banned, according to the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA).

“Tourists will also have to do a mandatory rapid PCR test at the airport.  The previous rules for unvaccinated (from restricted countries), including exempted categories, remain in place,” NCEMA said in a statement.

Also, fully vaccinated tourists can avail the facilities granted to vaccinated people in the UAE by registering their vaccination certificates through the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship (ICA) or Al Hosn App.
