GACA, Cisco sign MoU

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cisco Arabia Saudi Arabia Limited to enhance the scope of cooperation in technology and digital transformation in the civil aviation sector.

The MoU was signed at GACA’s headquarters in Riyadh between GACA’s Assistant to the President for Technology and Digital transformation, Eng. Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Shaya, and CEO of Cisco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulghani Faqih.

The GACA President Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, and the Vice President and Global Innovation Officer of Cisco, Dr. Guy Diedrich were present.

The GACA is keen to collaborate with international institutions and companies specializing in advanced technological fields to keep pace with the latest developments in the field of digital transformation in line with the directions of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
