Kuwait’s Youth Public Authority on Saturday, February 12, launched the second edition of the “professional initiator,” according to a report carried by the official Kuwait News Agency.

The initiative is apparently designed to empower the young Kuwaiti citizens to launch businesses.

The authority was quoted as saying in a statement that the program aims to guide Kuwaiti youngsters toward feasible investment sectors.

It is said to be part of the state development scheme and the government task program.

Moreover, it aims to diversify productivity, enabling the young citizens to launch startups in the private sector.

It is also expected to provide more opportunities for medium and small enterprises, at different levels of development and expansion.

It envisages five training programs with respect of pre-incubation in technological sector, industrial, information and communication systems, creativity, industrial intelligence, digital programs, crafts, and micro enterprises.

The three-month program kicks off in March.

Interested Kuwaitis can register for the program via the official website of the Youth Authority, said the report.
