Federation of Saudi Chambers signs deal to host UN Global Compact

The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Federation.

  • It also covers the sustainable development goals of the UN through the Saudi private sector.

The Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce signed an agreement to host the local network of the United Nations Global Compact in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This affirms the Federation’s role in supporting the efforts of the UN Global Compact and realizing the importance of corporate sustainability in implementing the programs and initiatives of the Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi media reports said.

It also covers the sustainable development goals of the UN through the Saudi private sector.

The signing ceremony of the agreement took place at the headquarters of the Federation.

It was signed by the Acting Secretary-General of the Federation of Saudi Chambers Hussein Al-Abdulqader, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Global Compact Network in the Kingdom Maryam Al-Telmesani.

The UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom Nathalie Fustier was also present during the signing.
