Iraq has reached the highest rate in oil exports during the last two years, the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO)Â announced on Friday.
“The rate of Iraq’s exports during February amounted to 3.314 million barrels per day, an estimated increase of 112 thousand barrels per day compared to last month,” a local news agency said, quoting the SOMO. “The revenues achieved from oil exports are 8.54 billion dollars, the highest since 2014”.
“The SOMO has exported the available quantity of crude oil through the governorates of Basra and Kirkuk,” the news agency reported adding the revenues for March. according to the SOMO, will be higher than last month, based on the current market data.
