Al-Daghmi: Jordan is strong under its ‘wise Hashemite leadership’

Parliament Speaker Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi.
  • Al-Daghmi said Hashemite leadership had built Jordan hand in hand with his sons to be a model in the Arab region
  • Representative Obeid Yassin said that the Hashemite leadership was and still is the safety valve in the homeland

Jordan is strong under its ‘wise Hashemite leadership’ and its people are loyal to this leadership, Parliament Speaker Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi said on Friday. Jordanians, he said, stand united behind the Hashemite banner whose banner is carried by King Abdullah II, who is following the path of his ancestors.

“Those who built Jordan hand in hand with his sons to be a model in the Arab region,” Al-Daghmi said in a dialogue session attended by dignitaries, sheikhs, academics and partisans from the people of Aqaba governorate, which was held in the office of the Yassin clan.

He called on citizens to form parties and engage with them because the present parties have political, economic and social programs that benefit the country and the citizen.

Representative Obeid Yassin said that the Hashemite leadership was and still is the safety valve in the homeland, and that the people of Jordan always and on every national occasion pledge allegiance to this leadership.

“We will continue to support and assist every effort made by His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to preserve the security and stability of the homeland, so that Jordan remains a title of security and stability, and a beacon of goodness and giving,” Yassin  said.
