ADJD notarization, authentication transactions jump in August

The department recorded 11,000 authentication transactions at 550 applications per day, during August 2022. (WAM)
  • There were 13,000 notarization and authentication transactions operations in August.
  • The availability of multiple electronic options for submitting and completing transactions remotely helped in the increase.

ABU DHABI, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has achieved a record surge in total notarization and authentication transactions carried out in a month by reaching 13,000 operations.

The department touched the notarization operations at 650 applications per day during official working days or approximately 90 operations per working hour.

The department also recorded 11,000 authentication transactions at 550 applications per day, during August, compared to previous months of this year.

Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the ADJD, attributed this achievement to the digital transformation efforts of the Judicial Department and the availability of multiple electronic options for submitting and completing transactions remotely.

This aligns with the directives of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to further the development processes by enhancing the competitiveness of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and create a favorable environment for business and investment.

The leading-edge services provided by the judicial department through the Smart Notary Public allow court users to submit their applications via smartphones and complete the procedures through video conferencing without appearing in person.

This is in addition to the possibility of receiving the required service in record time through the ADJD application, Al Abri added.

The various channels available to apply for the services, whether through the ADJD official website, its application, or the authorized typing offices, has contributed significantly to the ease of access to the services and the completion of all procedures.

This is primarily because of the interconnection with the integrated governmental system (Abu Dhabi Connect), which makes it possible to obtain data and documents without requesting them from the applicants and access the authenticated transaction instantly.
