UAE Foreign Minister makes phone call to Israeli PM

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, made a telephone call to Yair Lapid, Prime Minister of Israel.

Abu Dhabi, UAE:  Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, made a telephone call to Yair Lapid, Prime Minister of Israel.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed thanked Prime Minister Lapid for the warm reception during his recent visit at the head of an official delegation to Israel, which coincided with the two countries’ celebration of the two-year anniversary of their signing of the Abraham Accords Peace Agreement.

Sheikh Abdullah stressed that the success of the two countries in building fruitful and solid relations for peace and a prosperous future of the two countries. 

He commended the statement of Lapid before the United Nations General Assembly in New York, during which he stressed the importance of peace for the peoples of the region and called for a two-state solution to achieve security and stability for the Israeli and Palestinian peoples.

The UAE Foreign Minister also congratulated the Israeli Prime Minister on the occasion of the Jewish New Year, expressing his aspiration for the growth and development of relations between the two countries.
