Abu Dhabi, UAE — The UAE foreign minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu discussed food and energy security during their meeting here on Saturday.

The two ministers also discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation and partnership between the UAE and Türkiye, besides the latest regional and international developments.

Sheikh Abdullah congratulated Çavuşoğlu on the resumption of the grain-export deal through the Black Sea to international markets, commending the significant efforts made by Türkiye to continue the implementation of this deal that was signed last July in Istanbul between Russia and Ukraine, and the UN involvement.

The UAE foreign minister affirmed the UAE’s keenness to invest in the available opportunities and advance cooperation with Türkiye in various fields.
