Black Eyed Peas book Oct date for Egypt concert

American pop group Black Eyed Peas are expected to perform at a concert in Egypt in October this year, local reports have said.

Events and entertainment company Venture Lifestyle ME is organizing the concert on October 2 in Giza, said the reports.

Venture Lifestyle, in a social media post, said: “On October 2nd, we’re bringing the Grammy-winning, platinum-selling band, The Black Eyed Peas, to Egypt for a spectacular concert at the Great Pyramids of Giza. [sic]”

All four current members of the band, whose stylized names are will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and J. Rey Soul, are expected to perform at the event, which will start at 11:30 pm.

Tickets are already on sale on an online portal, with the early-bird prices mentioned in Egyptian pounds.

Thew top tier is VIP, costing EGP2,500 (around $160) each. The second tier is Golden Circle, where tickets cost EGP1,500 (around $96) each.

The cheapest are the Regular tickets, going for EGP800 (around $51) each.
