Dubai Tourism launches new trailer

  • This trailer comes just days after the Dubai Presents campaign was launched with the spy-action genre
  • This one-minute-six-second trailer is titled Dubai: A Romance to Remember

Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing has launched the second blockbuster-style trailer in its latest global campaign, local reports have said.

As with the previous video of the department, which is known as Dubai Tourism for short, this one too features Hollywood stars Jessica Alba and Zac Efron.

Building on the appeal of the romantic-comedy genre, this trailer comes just days after the campaign was launched with the spy-action genre.

This is the second instalment of the Dubai Presents campaign, and like the first one highlights some of Dubai’s most iconic locations.

This one-minute-six-second trailer is titled Dubai: A Romance to Remember. Watch it here:

It has reportedly been filmed by award-winning director Craig Gillespie, who helmed the recent Hollywood release Cruella.

The latest trailer features Alba and Efron’s journey through the city on two very contrasting itineraries, in a way where an apparently star-crossed couple is destined to cross paths.

The trailer features attractions like the architecture of the historic Al Fahidi neighborhoods, boutiques and creek-side cafes in Al Seef, as well as the desert and a traditional desert camp.

The Dubai Presents campaign is expected to see a series of new trailers being launched over the coming months, with Alba and Efron in them.

The campaign will also reportedly feature a series of cinematic teasers on gastronomy, active holidays, nature and outdoors, and holidays in Dubai.

Dubai Presents will be released in 27 countries across 16 languages via cinema, print, broadcast, out of home, digital and social media channels, with movie posters, digital trailers, and more.
