Ithra participates in Cannes Film Festival with new Saudi films

Ithra, the largest producer of cinematic films in Saudi Arabia, is participating in the 75th Cannes Film Festival.

King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), the largest producer of cinematic films in Saudi Arabia, is participating in the 75th Cannes Film Festival. 

Ithra is participating as part of the Saudi pavilion at the festival, which is supervised by the Film Commission, along with a number of government and private agencies, such as the Ministry of Investment, the Red Sea Film Festival, Al-Ula Film, NEOM, MBC Group, a group of production and distribution companies and a group of the promising Saudi talents.

Director of Theater and Performing Arts at Ithra Majed Zuhair Samman said that the Ithra’s second official participation in the festival reflects the active role in the growing film industry in Saudi Arabia and the promotion of the creation of pioneering cinematic content.
