Ajman, UAE – The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has discussed expanding the trade and joint investment with Turkiye at the Ajman-Türkiye Business Forum.

Organized by ACCI, the forum acted as a platform for exchanging experiences, expanding business networks, developing partnerships, and leveraging the opportunities available in both Ajman and Türkiye.

Salem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Ajman Chamber, stressed the importance of the Forum and its role in enhancing communication, knowledge and investment opportunities, especially in the furniture and furnishings sector.

He praised the growth and prosperity of the furniture and furnishings industry in Ajman and Türkiye, which will open broad prospects for current and future cooperation.

Al Suwaidi noted that the relations between the UAE and Türkiye grew quickly at economic level, especially after the signing of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA) between the two in the first quarter of the current year.

The non-oil trade exchange between the UAE and Türkiye reached AED 69.58 billion ($18.95bn) by the end of the year 2022, compared to AED 49.5 billion ($13.5bn) in 2021, he highlighted.
