DEWA organized 157 health, safety training sessions for employees in 2022

DUBAI, UAE – Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has organized 157 training courses and awareness sessions on occupational health and safety during 2022, with the participation of 2,170 employees from various divisions.

DEWA also organized its 20th Internal Health and Safety Week, which featured various activities in all aspects of occupational health and safety, supporting DEWA’s continuous efforts to provide a healthy and safe work environment.

“We are keen to ensure that DEWA’s employees keep pace with all the latest global developments related to occupational health and safety and to promote a culture of occupational health, safety and environment among all our employees,” said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA.

“As part of our Integrated Management Systems Policy, we effectively implement quality, health, safety and environmental management systems to enhance health and safety standards in all our projects and operations,” he said.
