Dubai Chamber TikTok Academy open for enrollment till Jun 19

    • Academy likely to help 1,000 startups and SMEs grow their businesses using TikTok 

    • Participants will have access to a business campus workshop designed to support entrepreneurs

    Dubai Chamber TikTok Academy will be launching a five-week educational program, in which businesses can learn about content creation, digital marketing besides best practices and tailored guidance through knowledge sharing sessions with industry experts.

    The program, which will run from 6 June-19 June, is the first-of-its-kind initiative in the MENA region.

    Participants will get a chance to win prizes for the best video TikTok and the best campaign while all businesses that complete the program will earn a digital participation badge. 

    In addition, participants will have access to a business campus workshop designed to support entrepreneurs who are in the idea stage of development and enhance their business strategies.

    Shant Oknayan, TikTok’s general manager of Global Business Solutions Middle East, Turkey, Africa & Pakistan said: “At TikTok, we consider the SMB community an integral part of the economy, and are keen to support them in growing their business by creatively engaging with their target audience.” 

    He said the Dubai Chamber TikTok Academy is a step forward in this direction, and they were very excited to partner with the Chamber to share knowledge and expertise with SMBs, which will enable their digital growth.

    Last month, Dubai Chamber signed a memorandum of understanding with TikTok establishing the Dubai Chamber TikTok Academy, which is likely to help 1,000 startups and SMEs validate and grow their businesses using the content creation platform.

    Businesses and entrepreneurs can apply for the program by visiting the registration website to express their interest.
