DUBAI, UAE – Dubai Customs provides services and facilities to licensed companies in the free zones of the Emirate to boost investments and attract more investors.

It also helps determine the customs value of the goods imported by the free zone companies.

The Customs Valuation Department issues and approves authorization certificates for free zones companies which helps them with faster and smoother clearance of their goods.

Thanks to the authorization service, free zone companies can accept invoices issued in the country of origin.

This service can be obtained online through Dubai Customs website and smart channels.

“We are constantly developing our services to ensure that best facilities are provided to our clients as part of Dubai and Dubai Customs vision to maintain their leading position worldwide, relying on the most advanced technologies,” said Eman Badr Al-Suwaidy, Director of Customs Valuation Department.

“The Customs Valuation Department issues authorization certificates to free zone companies to boost investments in support of the emirate’s economy in particular and the UAE national economy in general,” he said.

The Customs Valuation Department regularly organizes workshops for free zone companies to familiarize them with the authorization service.
