Riyadh, Saudi Arabia— The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has renewed its commitment to continue having a strong partnership with China in order to serve common interests.

The sentiment was echoed in a meeting between Secretary General of the GCC, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, and China’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Chen Weiqing.

The meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed all issues and topics of common interest, and reviewed the cooperation relations between the GCC and China to achieve common interests.

The Secretary General congratulated the ambassador on the occasion of the country’s National Day, wishing the government and people of China further progress and prosperity.
