Kazakhstan’s BSG Technology to set up business in UAE next year

Abu Dhabi, UAE— Kazakhstan’s BSG Technology is looking to expand its operations into the Middle East, and begin operations in the UAE next year.

According to Serik Baimukhanbetov, Deputy Director for Business Development of BSG Technology, the company expects to launch its operations in the UAE market in 2024 and has partnered with a local company that it met through participating in previous editions of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC).

Speaking to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), he said the company hopes that its presence in the UAE market will positively impact the local economy, he added, highlighting the importance of ADIPEC in creating opportunities for new partnerships and signing deals with companies worldwide.

He also stressed his company’s previous participations in ADIPEC have resulted in many partnerships and relationships, explaining that the company participated in the event for the fourth time this year and noting its major importance, as it is a key platform for communication and exchanging expertise.

In addition to the UAE, BSG Technology aims to engage in several new markets in the region, Baimukhanbetov added, noting that the oil and energy sector in the Middle East is large and offers many opportunities for expansion for companies in this field.

Kazakhstan has shown keeness to boost joint investments and strengthen cooperation with the UAE in several sectors.

In August this year, Oralov Askhat Razdykovich, Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan, reaffirmed his country’s keenness to bolster its cooperation with the UAE, especially in sectors of importance to both countries, including cultural.

He added that his country is keen on striving to enhance joint investments with the UAE, noting that the opening of the “Abu Dhabi Plaza” project in Astana was an important addition to the Kazakh capital and has become one of its most famous landmarks.

In a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the Minister said that the investment of Abu Dhabi Government in the project constitutes a model of what the two countries could achieve at the level of future projects.

“Abu Dhabi will always be an important partner for us, and we will be ready to provide all aspects of support to Emirati investors to ensure the development of existing areas of cooperation,” he added.

Abu Dhabi Plaza is a grand complex that includes a commercial and residential tower in the heart of the capital, Astana, and includes residential and commercial facilities. It includes a 4-star hotel and 400 parking spaces for the mall’s guests, hotel guests, and office tower employees.
