  • The concept of Core Istanbul is called as a more business-oriented approach towards philanthropy

Kuwait participated in the festivities as ‘Core Istanbul’, billed as a collaborative Turkish-Arab firm, was inaugurated in what is called as a more business-oriented approach towards philanthropy.

Kuwait Islamic Charity Organization’s participation in the inauguration of the firm on Saturday is a show of support for any initiative undertaken by Arab youngsters, its chief Dr Abdullah Al-Matouq said.

He hailed the endeavor as a novel initiative in the world of philanthropy. He hoped that more Arab and Islamic nations would follow suit in exploring this new approach that aims to give impetus to philanthropic projects.

“This represents a new chapter in global efforts to alleviate human misery,” said Kuwait’s Ambassador to Turkey Ghassan Al-Zawawi, praising the initiative as one “worthy of support.”

Another Kuwaiti participant, Jamal Al-Nouri, the chief of Kuwait-based Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri charity, said he hoped the new hub would be a launchpad for Arab youngsters into the job market, allowing them the chance to convert their ambitions into realities.

The gathering was attended by diplomats from across the wider Arab region. All the diplomats present have given their support for the initiative aiming to create an employment boom for young people.
