DUBAI, UAE  – Nearly 2,000 global business executives and investors attended the World Corporate Summit in Dubai to share in the vision of improving the world through business.

Held in Dubai from November 21 till December 15 2022 at the Palace Downtown Hotel, this summit which was supported by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, presented a unique opportunity for business leaders to exchange ideas.

The business leaders were also building partnerships with over 100 roundtables, 20 networking sessions.

From deliberating on a future-proof workforce with the skills needed for economic and social growth to addressing climate change, the summit took a 360-degree view at ways to improve the world economy.

The summit also explored ways of focusing on agritech to solve the global food crisis and exploring future technologies from artificial intelligence to Web3.

The World Corporate Summit and the Ministry of Economy of the UAE’s Investopia platform conducted a special session entitled “The Future of Investment in Sports” which was attended by 200 global leaders in sports and finance.

The leaders included Javier Tebas, President of La Liga and 40 La Liga football clubs, Paolo Scaroni, Chairman of AC Milan, major financiers from Mubadala to Fosun and Barclays Bank, and Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia.

The summit closed with an awards ceremony in partnership with Huawei AppGallery honoring exceptional leaders in their fields, including Chalhoub Group – Retailer of the Year, Virgin Mobile – Innovative Company of the Year, PHD MENA – Media and Advertising Company of the Year, Laila Rahhal El Atfani – Woman in Tech of the Year, ORO24 – Real Estate Developer of the Year, Therme Group – Health & Wellness Company of the Year, koloXo – E-Commerce of the Year.

The other individuals and companies include Century Financial – Investment Company of the Year, Immersion4 – Sustainable Company of the Year, Amrita Sethi – Woman in Web3 of the Year, JinglePay – Fintech of the Year, Glenwood Equity – Real Estate Investment Company of the Year.
