NEOM, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Arabia’s $500 billion mega project, has introduced Utamo, a new art and entertainment destination set to host performances by global mega artists.
Described by NEOM as “an innovative and multipurpose event and performance space,” Utamo features VIP lounges and signature restaurants, aiming to become one of the world’s most exclusive event venues.
“Cocooned in a mountain located along the Gulf of Aqaba coastline, Utamo creates a unique backdrop for music events, exhibitions, and art activations that will transform traditional entertainment experiences,” NEOM said in a statement.
The statement further emphasizes the design’s blend of natural beauty and technology, offering visitors a unique experience where “art and architecture blend harmoniously, providing visitors with a truly unique experience.”
Guests arriving at Utamo will walk on a garden promenade adorned with over 50 species of shrubs, herbs, and flowers before encountering the grand hall and a 64-meter-high entrance paying homage to art and design.

NEOM envisions Utamo as a venue where “reality and the digital realm converge,” aiming to redefine entertainment benchmarks with its multipurpose performance space, VIP lounges, and signature restaurants.
“A theatre of the future where reality and the digital realm converge, Utamo will host events that redefine the benchmark of entertainment…Its multipurpose performance space, VIP lounges, and signature restaurants will make it one of the world’s most exclusive event spaces, as it plays host to performances from the globe’s greatest artists,” NEOM statement said.
Designed to accommodate immersive artistic installations and performances, Utamo will leverage advanced audio-visual systems to provide “sensory experiences” and immerse viewers into performances.
“The space will be carefully crafted to facilitate immersive artistic installations and performances while advanced audio-visual systems will give ‘sensory experiences’ to immerse viewers into performances,” the statement said further.
This unveiling follows recent announcements within NEOM, including exclusive ‘tourism escape’ Siranna, sustainable tourism destination Leyja with luxury hotels by Habitas, and Epicon, an area featuring residential beach villas, hotels, and a luxurious resort.
Moreover, NEOM’s flagship regions—THE LINE, Oxagon, Sindalah, and Trojena—are being developed to operate entirely on renewable, clean energy sources, aligning with NEOM’s sustainability goals.
