Oman and Sri Lanka have discussed economic and trade cooperation. In this connection, Saleh Said Masan, Undersecretary for Commerce and Industry of Oman met Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Trade of Sri Lanka, in Muscat on Sunday.
The two sides explored aspects of the joint cooperation, economic diversification sectors and the investment and trade environment in both countries.
It also includes augmenting trade exchange between Oman and Sri Lanka.
The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation in the economy and industry sectors, logistics, ports and investment opportunities in both countries.
They also discussed exchanging expertise between the two sides, and seeking to benefit from the opportunities and potentials available in the two countries.
The two sides reviewed the products that can be exported and imported.
The meeting also explored the incentives provided by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion to investors.
This covers economic diversification sectors targeted by Oman Vision 2040, and the available investment opportunities.
