Data issued by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has showed that the country issued licenses to 109 new factories worth over SAR2.5 billion ($666.67 million) in March.
The total number of workers in these licensed factories reached 3,497, local reports have said.
Meanwhile, with the new licenses, the total number of factories across the country stood at 10,489.
The total number of factories that began actual production reached 261 in March, with investments reaching SAR6 billion ($1.6 billion).
