Riyadh, Saudi Arabia— According to flash estimates by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT), real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Saudi Arabia grew by 8.6 percent in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
This growth is mainly due to the increase in oil activities by 14.5 percent in the third quarter of 2022. Non-oil activities grew by 5.6 percent and government services activities by 2.4 percent (year-on-year) in the reference period.
The seasonally adjusted real GDP increased by 2.6 percent in the third quarter 2022 compared to the second quarter this year.
Oil activities grew by 5.8 percent government services activities by 1.1 percent and non-oil activities by 0.2 percent (quarter-on-quarter).
