SEWA links up Al-Arqoub with its power grid

The Sharjah Electricity Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) will start to provide electricity to the Al-Arqoub area, aiming to meet the needs of consumers.

The Authority’s Electricity Services Department has begun to provide electricity services in the area and actually work on connecting some transactions and extending high-pressure cables by approximately 4000 meters. Work is ongoing to strengthen the network and light the leading and internal roads to the area with approximately 700 lighting poles, as part of the Authority’s keenness to provide electricity services in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.

Dr. Eng. Hassan Al Zarooni, Director of the Electricity Services Department confirmed that the Department is working to provide the best services, develop performance and apply best practices in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.

He has further lauded the Authority’s strategy in providing services to all regions, promoting its new development projects and services in all areas of its work, within its current and future plans, aiming to keep pace with the growth and movement of urban and population expansion.

The Authority calls on the clients and investors in the region to apply for electricity service through the service provision outlets in the Authority.
