Dubai, UAE— In order to select winners for the TOP CEO Conference and Awards 2022, the list was narrowed down to the CEOs of the listed companies.
While judging a company CEO, singular attention was paid to the performance of the company whose CEO was being judged. The measure of the selection was based on the company’s growth, profitability, size, and corporate governance. All along the selection process, credibility and transparency of the selection process was kept paramount.
For the process not only to be fair and trustworthy, but also to be seen as such, another layer of transparency and accountability was added by roping in INSEAD business school.
TRENDS also worked with Hawkamah, the corporate governance institute, to ensure that corporate governance and disclosure criteria are strictly adhered to as part of the ranking. Global auditors were also brought in to ensure full transparency in the work.
As the TOP CEO recognized the top business leaders transforming the region, it also launched “Thought Leadership Councils” that would comprise CEOs from listed and private companies, professional experts, and academicians. The councils will deliberate throughout the year and would set the agenda of the next annual event.
