Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Earth foresight, a scientific program to combat climate change using Artificial Intelligence was launched at the Global AI Summit which was organized at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, in Riyadh, from 13-15 September.

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the Google Cloud Platform for Cloud Computing, and the Climate Engine Foundation for climate research announced the program at the summit. 

The program relies on ground data processing techniques and artificial intelligence to provide sustainability solutions to address the risks of climate change and enhance environmental protection in Saudi Arabia and the region. 

It focuses on five aspects to secure a more sustainable environment, including environmental preservation, pollution control, sustainable agriculture, climate and nature protection, and water and food security.
