ICESCO to cooperate with Qatari institutions and authorities

Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) discussed ways of cooperation with Qatar in a meeting held at Rabat in Morocco.

The Director-General of ICESCO Salim bin Mohammed Al-Malik met with Ambassador of Qatar to Morocco Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer bin Mohammed bin Thani Al Thani on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the distinguished relations of cooperation between ICESCO and Qatar.

The officials also reviewed aspects of the success achieved during the celebration of Doha, Capital of Culture of the Islamic World 2021.

Al-Malik affirmed ICESCO’s keenness to develop the existing cooperation and partnership with various Qatari institutions and authorities, in coordination with Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
