Arab Parliament endorses call to support victims of terrorism

Cairo, Egypt— Arab Parliament on Monday endorsed the call for victims of terrorism in the Arab world to be supported “financially and economically” to overcome tragedies.

The parliament said that those affected by the evil claws of terrorism in the Arab world must be supported to overcome their tragedies.

The call for support was made to coincide with the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism.

The speaker of the parliament Adel Al-Asoomi asserted that taking care of victims of terrorism was a crucial part of the fight against such menace.

He went on to say that laws and legislation on the Arab and international level must come about to protect the legal, economic, social, financial, and health rights of those suffering from terrorism.

Rehabilitating victims of terrorism is also important, indicated Al-Asoomi who touted the Arab parliaments’ efforts in this regard.

He called on all nations to uphold the rights victims and enable them to regain their lives ravage by unjustifiable violence.
