The total number and value of sold real estate in Qatar have increased at a monthly rate of 2.8 percent and 28.2 percent respectively in November, compared to October 2021.
The issued cash increased by 3 percent, compared to October 2021, and at an annual rate of 20.7 percent, compared to November 2020, Qatari media reports said.
Data released by the Planning and Statistics Authority showed an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), as the General Household Consumption Index increased by 1.34 percent (compared to October 2021).
Entertainment and culture registered the highest rise of 7.92 percent to reach 100 in November 2021.
The demographic statistics revealed that the total population of Qatar has decreased from 2.72 million during November 2020 to 2.69 million at end of November 2021.
The banking sector data shows the Total Broad Money Supply (M2) recorded about QR619.3 Billion during November 2021, an annual increase of 6.2 percent compared with November 2020.
On the other hand, cash equivalents; including Commercial Bank Deposits, attained for QR963.8 billion ($170 billion) during November 2021, an increase of 8.9 percent compared to November 2020, when deposits recorded approximately QR884.8 billion.
Regarding the data of buildings permits issued, the total number of permits has reached 802 permits during November 2021, recording a monthly increase of 17.1 percent and an annual increase of 5.2 percent.
