Dubai discusses cooperation with Egypt

Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly at Expo 2020 Dubai, where they discussed bilateral ties, local reports have said.

The two leaders discussed ways of boosting cooperation as well as strengthening relations between the emirate and the African country, said the reports.

Sheikh Mohammad, also the prime minister of the UAE, congratulated Madbouly on Egypt’s National Day, celebrated through special programs at the Egypt pavilion of Expo 2020.

Musical star Amr Diab performed at the event to bring the National Day celebrations to a close.

Madbouly, on his part, congratulated the UAE on the successful organization of Expo 2020 Dubai, while remarking that it was Egypt’s largest participation in any global event till date.

Located in the Opportunity district, the Egypt pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai displays the history and civilization of the country.

It also apparently presents a chance to learn about the country’s ancient past through a virtual 3D experience.
