Egyptian President in UAE, to attend World Government Summit in Dubai

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Abu Dhabi on Sunday evening.

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Abu Dhabi this evening on a working visit, during which he will lead the Egyptian delegation as a Guest of Honour to the World Government Summit in Dubai, which held every year since 2013. 

President  Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the Egyptian president upon arrival at the Presidential Flight.

The spokesman for the Egyptian government, Councilor Ahmed Fahmy, said that during the various functions and dialogue sessions of the summit,President El-Sisi will outline Egypt’s economic and development policies and priorities in light of the world’s ongoing crises.

Egypt’s participation in the World Government Summit is the largest so far. 

During a short break at Al Shatti Palace, the two leaders exchanged discussed brotherly bilateral ties and aspects of joint cooperation and ways of furthering them.

President El-Sisi offered his condolences to Sheikh Mohamed over the passing of Sheikha Maryam bint Abdullah bin Sulayem Al Falasi.
