GCC for Arab States hails security exercise as ‘message of determination’

Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, has affirmed that the security of the GCC states is indivisible, asserting that the “Arab Gulf Security 3” is a message of determination and peace.

Arab Gulf Security 3 is a joint tactical exercise of GCC security services.

Al-Hajraf, who was speaking at the closing ceremony of the exercise, said there was a high level of security coordination and cooperation among the GCC specialized agencies to preserve the security and stability of the GCC states, according to media reports.

The exercise was hosted by Saudi Arabia. In presence of the GCC Interior Ministers, Dr. Al-Hajraf said that the security of the GCC states is one, affirming that security coordination and integration is a fundamental pillar in maintaining security and stability in the GCC states.

The GCC Secretary-General stressed that the exercise strengthens the solidarity of the GCC states in addressing the dangers and challenges, including combating terrorism, organized crime, drugs, border security and cybersecurity.

He hailed the level of distinguished organization and preparation as well as the great efforts made by the Saudi Ministry of Interior for the success of organizing the joint security exercise.
