Jordanian-Saudi joint military drill kicks off in KSA

The “Sahab 4” military drill between the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) and the Saudi Armed Forces kicked off Sunday in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“The exercise aims to enhance joint cooperation, exchange expertise between the Saudi and Jordanian armed forces, raise the training level of armed forces units in the field of defense against weapons of mass destruction, activate joint work and unify concepts between armed forces units and medical services,” Head of the Jordanian delegation, Colonel Khaled Shamaileh, said.

Director of the exercise from the Saudi armed forces, Brigadier General Muqbel bin Mohammad Al-Harbi, valued the participation of Jordan in the exercise, and thanked the participants for their efforts in the planning and preparation stages that preceded the exercise.

Al-Harbi indicated that the exercise will be carried out in two phases, in which lessons and lectures will be provided to participants besides the field training to tackle weapons of mass destruction.
