OIC holds meeting on escalating Israeli aggression against the Palestinians

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia -The Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold an extraordinary, meeting Monday on the escalation of Israeli aggression against Palestinian people.

The organization said in a statement that the meeting will be open-ended. It will deliberate on the current situation in occupied Palestiinian territories, especially killings of 11 people and dozens of injuries among Palestinian citizens in Nablus.

According to the OIC statement, the meeting comes within the framework of coordinating positions and efforts to urge the international community to assume its responsibilities towards putting an end to the continued Israeli crimes, and to stress the need to provide the necessary international protection for the Palestinian people.
