UAE discusses bilateral cooperation with Greece and Ukraine

UAE has introduced three new laws.
  • With the Greek prime minister, he explored the path of further strengthening the existing strategic partnership between the two countries
  • With Ukraine's president, Sheikh Mohamed reviewed the prospects of enhancing their cooperation

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has talked to Greece and Ukraine to enhance his country’s bilateral ties with them, official sources have said.

With Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, he explored the path of further strengthening the existing strategic partnership between the two countries, said the sources.

This came in phone where Sheikh Mohamed reportedly stressed that Greece is an important partner in several regional issues.

He also apparently affirmed the UAE’s keenness to continue coordination, consultation, and exchange of views with Greece, and to ensure stability, peace, cooperation, and development in the region.

During the phone call, the prospects of further cementing economic and trade relations between the two countries and promoting joint investment opportunities over the coming period were also discussed.

With Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, Sheikh Mohamed reviewed the prospects of enhancing their cooperation, said the sources.

This, too, happened over the phone.

Zelensky also congratulated Sheikh Mohamed on the UAE Golden Jubilee, while the sheikh thanked him for it.
