UAE president, Jordan king meet, discuss ties, regional issues

Abu Dhabi, UAE –  UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan, held talks on Thursday to discuss the strong ties between the two nations and ways to further expand cooperation and collaboration.
During the meeting, held at Al Shati Palace, the two sides stressed the importance of expanding economic cooperation.
The two leaders reviewed existing areas of partnership and explored opportunities to develop ties further.
The meeting also covered a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
It is the third visit of the Jordanian monarch to the UAE this year.
In June, King Abdullah  held  talks with Sheikh Mohamed at Al Shati Palace.
Earlier, Jordan King  also visited the Emirates in February with his wife Queen Rania.
