UAE delegation attend meetings on sidelines of UNGA session

NEW YORK, US – The UAE delegation attended the sixth day of high-level meetings on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, joined a ministerial-level meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement on Sunday.

Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi.

He also held productive discussions with several ministers, including Awatif Altidjani Ahmed Koiboro, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad of the Republic of Chad, and Dhoihir Dhoulkamal, Foreign Minister of the Comoros.

Sheikh Shakhboot met with Abdoulaye Diop, Foreign Minister of Mali, and General Odongo Jeje Abubakhar, Foreign Minister of Uganda.

He also met Ambassador Bankole Adeoye, African Union Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security.
