The ranking is based on evaluations by more than 800 professional judges from across continents.
  • The United Arab Emirates led the region with two cafés making the Top 100, reinforcing its position as a fast-expanding specialty coffee hub
  • Qatar and Oman achieved their first-ever entries in the global ranking, while Turkey’s Meet Lab Coffee returned to the list

Six coffee shops from the Middle East have secured places in The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops 2026 list, highlighting the region’s growing reputation as a global specialty coffee destination.

The second edition of the annual ranking, presented in partnership with DaVinci Gourmet, was announced at CoffeeFest Madrid on February 16.

The United Arab Emirates led the region with two cafés making the Top 100, reinforcing its position as a fast-expanding specialty coffee hub. Qatar and Oman achieved their first-ever entries in the global ranking, while Turkey’s Meet Lab Coffee returned to the list.

The Middle East cafés featured in the 2026 Top 100 are:

  • Benchmark Coffee, UAE

  • Harvest Coffee, Qatar

  • Meet Lab Coffee, Turkey

  • Azura – The Coffee Company, Oman

  • Cypher Urban Roastery, UAE

  • Flat White Specialty Coffee, Qatar

Organisers said the list reflects the emergence of new global coffee capitals and the growing diversity of the international café community. The United States topped the ranking overall with nine coffee shops featured, alongside entries from South America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.

The ranking is based on evaluations by more than 800 professional judges from across continents, combined with over 350,000 public votes. More than 15,000 coffee shops worldwide were assessed for this year’s edition.

Described as the first global ranking dedicated to recognising excellence in coffee shops, the list aims to spotlight cafés that not only serve high-quality coffee but also offer distinctive customer experiences.

DaVinci Gourmet, the global title partner for the 2026 edition, said it remains committed to promoting beverage artistry and café culture through initiatives such as the Barista Craft Championship.
